Established in 1994, CPC is a world renowned designer and manufacturer of high power solid state RF amplifiers for (ISM) Medical, Scientific, Industrial and Defence applications. CPC designs and manufactures RF amplifiers that incorporate the latest advances in RF, analog and digital technology. Our modular amplifier stages utilize a variety of device technologies, the logic / control networks employ CPLD (Complex Programmable Logic Devices) and high speed microprocessors. The modular design approach allows for outstanding performance and low cost. This system architecture also lends itself to a design flexibility that enables CPC to easily and quickly provide custom designs for new requirements.

MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) The result of over 5 years of market research, these amplifiers contain many features that make them ideal for MR scanners: excellent Gain Linearity (<+/-1db), Phase Linearity (+/-7.5 degrees), Low Droop (<5% typical) and outstanding Pulse Fidelity. These amplifiers are suitable for field strengths up to and including 9.4T at power levels of over 24 KW. This line also offers a clinical grade 3T amplifier for multi nuclear spectroscopy applications. This amplifier is CE marked and is UL 2601 IEC 60601 compliant.
MRI Parallel Transmitter (Parallel Transceiver) CPC now offers a new line of Multi - Channel Amplifiers. These amplifiers are ideal for B1 Shimming. These systems contain completely independent amplifier channels at power outputs of 500 - 1000W per channel. They offer significant cost/space savings advantages over conventional single channel amplifiers.
NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) CPC's line of NMR amplifiers are for use in NMR Spectroscopy systems. These amplifiers offer improved performance over the MRI amplifiers in terms of increased pulse width capability (up to 300 msec), reduced droop (5% typical) and frequency range capability (up to 2.0GHz). Systems are available in power levels from 30 watts to over 4000 watts and frequency ranges of 0.5MHz to 2 GHz.
NQR (Nuclear Quadruple Resonance) Applications have increased as the need for detection of plastic explosives evolves. NQR generally operates at lower field strengths and power levels of up to 2 KW. These amplifier systems cover 500 kHz to over 30 MHz and can be supplied (upon request) to output up to 2 KW of output power at 50% duty cycles.
EPR (Electron Paramagnetic Resonance) The newly evolving field of EPR requires amplifiers with extremely fast (<15 nanosec) rise/fall times and low overshoot (<10%). To meet this requirement, CPC has introduced high speed amplifiers to address this new application.
Generator Selection Guide CPC's generator products are used for: • Clinical Thermotherapy • Industrial Heating • Microwave Drying These generators operate at 915MHz (all generators have a built in oscillator) at power levels of 50 to over 800 watts. Optional gain control cards provide output stability of less than +/-0.2 dB.
Switch Selection Guide CPC's Transmit/Receive (T/R) Switches operate in narrow bandwidths from 30 to over 400 MHz at power levels of up to 7 KW pulse. These switches have the following features: • Non magnetic • Fiber optic control • Fast switching speed: <15 usec • Excellent isolation:>60 dB
